PartyGaming is committed to high standards of corporate governance. The Board has identified that a core objective will be to ensure that the Group gives due attention to developments in the field of corporate governance, including the Higgs review on the role of non-executives and the Smith report on audit committees, and continues to review its performance, business activities and processes with these developments in mind.

As a Gibraltar incorporated company, PartyGaming Plc is governed according to the Gibraltar Companies Act and the Company's Memorandum and articles of association. The principal governance rules applying to UK listed companies are contained in Section 1 of the Combined Code on Corporate Governance annexed to the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority ("the Combined Code"). The Board has provided that the Company will comply with the requirements of the Combined Code on Corporate Governance, or explain why it does not.
